Hey just wondering...

Dirty and I would like to just have 2 stations to play halo 3 and do our own thing. Is this possible? We may compete in one of the others just not definitely.

Let us know. Thanks alot.

Its a semi-casual affair so that is totally fine. However you will still need to pay entry fee. Not participating in the comps excludes yourself from prizes. And seeing as how there are so few competing you are backing down from an easy shot at some cash and madman merchandise. Your call. Have fun.

Well Josh left his Bops at his Dads and he can't go and get it in time so we may split screen that...Which will fail. We both dislike reach but may play just for the sense of competition and seeing as we would of paid to get in.

Yeah we are happy to pay entry fee. We want to come and see the venue and support you guys of course :)

Anyone going to this and owns halo 3 bring it. Hopefully we can have some h3 gaming :D

That's cool. If you splitscreen you are using only one station so that will be one entry. We book stations so thats what you pay i guess. On the other hand we could not let too many splitscreen for the reasons that there are not enough chairs.
Ill bring my H3 copies.

Good to see that we got over 20 players, we can call that a Lan, aldo a small one. Lets make it a Fun one.
I am glad to see we have the hard core Halo players coming, i am sure the numbers will grow in the future, especially with more notice and a better date.
I can only hope that COD players can get out of the armchairs next time and we have a full house of 56 (more stations being installed).

We have posted the tournament times earlier, this might change slightly due to number of teams for obvious reasons. Still nothing changes, tourneys still go ahead and we organize more during the day. Anything that comes to mind, especially my mind  :o  I would like you to think of this Lan as a fun Lan but also as competitive enough during those tourney moments. Melbourne Crown is at stake here  ;D

Please note:
Doors open at 11am

Find the address of the NEW VENUE in the first post in this tread. Train station closest too.

Pack: Xbox with power brick, video cable VGA or HDMI (if you have extra bing it), games, controllers, if you have headphones (if you dont, use the MC's ones), sound adapter for headphones to your RCA cable female to female.

Drinks and snacks :)
Good will.  ;)

Check this tread for any other news before you leave.

We will have 2 stations. I mean if we play bops we will only use one because Dirty doesn't have a copy. When we are playing h3 we will want one each though.

Also I get into melb early. Is it like a normal internet cafe in like can I just get there early and go on the computer and shit?

hey smaj since there are so few reach teams, could we start the reach 2v2 earlier? because I have to leave pretty early, in the arvo and there's not much use waiting around for like...2? BO teams to finish whatever their doing.
